Dr Hussain holds a specialised focus in complex coronary procedures. He completed the highly competitive Coronary Intervention Fellowship at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. This advanced training allows him to offer a full range of interventional techniques for complex coronary artery disease.  These advanced procedures include:

  • Coronary angiography and stent implantation.
  • Advanced techniques such as rotablation and intravascular lithotripsy (IVL)
  • Utilising Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) for precise treatment planning and optimisation. * Emergency stent implantation for patients presenting with an acute heart attack.

  • Education: He is currently editing a Cardiology Textbook that has been accepted for publication.
  • A PhD in Cardiovascular Medicine awarded after four years at the prestigious Barts Heart Centre in London.
  • While at Barts Hospital, he also assisted in providing stem-cell therapy for patients with advanced heart failure.
  • Underwent Post-graduate training in General Medicine and Cardiology across Surrey, Wessex, and London.
