Our clinic is open Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, with ample free onsite parking and excellent transport links, located next to Winnersh Triangle railway station and close to the M4.

We welcome self-pay patients and are recognised by all major private health insurers, making it simple to book an appointment with or without a referral. Patients can self-refer or be referred by their NHS GP, private GP, or another healthcare professional.

In addition to outpatient appointments, we offer Private Medical Assessments carried out by an experienced senior doctor. These can be tailored to your individual needs, whether you require a general health check, pre-employment medical, or executive health screening.

I visited The Berkshire Clinic this afternoon and was very pleased with the overall experience. The décor is modern and welcoming, and the staff are attentive and professional throughout. Dr. Nicholas Spyrou was excellent as always, providing clear explanations and a high level of care.

One suggestion for improvement would be to provide a tea or coffee machine in the waiting area for added comfort. Parking is free, which is appreciated, though the number of spaces is somewhat limited.

I have been to the Berkshire Clinic on three occasions and on each visit I was made to feel comfortable and welcome. The reception staff are so warm & friendly immediately putting my nerves at ease. Charlotte who works in administration, went out of her way to support me when I got lost on my first visit and she also could not do enough to help with my prior enquiries. A personal thank you to all the lovely staff who make such a wonderful team and also a special thanks to the specialists I saw; Professor Neil Ruparelia who is an unbelievably amazing Cardiologist and Sudan, who carried out an Echocardiogram and found a congenital heart defect which an outside Echo had missed! Although parking is tight, we achieved this today without a problem. The Berkshire Clinic is easy to access from Jnt 10 M4 and the A329 which comes almost to the door. The interior could use a coffee machine and some magasines, but my appointment with my consultant was timely and we didn’t wait long. Happy to return for future consultations.

A sudden medical issue saw me needing a fast, uncomplicated and professional approach outside of the endless NHS queues. As this clinic was on my doorstep I decided to book an appointment with one of the professional consultants and I was not disappointed.

We originally looked at a private appointment because we were looking for treatment/tests faster than NHS due to the long wait/lack of appointments and our own GP refusing to refer my husband for further tests. My husband saw Dr Armstrong and he also saw another doctor for his heart, both appointments provided great feedback/answers and medicine was prescribed after the tests. We were transferred for a brain scan which is what the nhs wasn’t able to do for my husband and further more we have now been transferred to John Radcliffe and will be having surgery in the next couple of months, we are so glad we went to the Berkshire clinic, if I hadn’t of taken action myself my husband may still be waiting for an appt with the NHS. Since my husbands appt my father has had a general blood test/gp appointment and my daughter went there for bloods too. Yes it’s private and you have to pay but for speed of appointment and for the information/feedback it was def worth it and staff are all very caring and friendly and just what was needed after a struggle to get an appt through our registered doctor. Sometimes for peace of mind it’s def worth paying for an appt if this is something you can budget for. Would highly recommend!

I have a diagnosis of CPTSD and extreme phobias with meeting new doctors, based on previous experiences and have had a very challenging year medically. I was very nervous for my appointment, however everyone I spoke to at The Berkshire clinic went out of their way to make me feel calm, comfortable and understood. The receptionist was extremely supportive and even contacted me prior to my appointment to make sure I was happy with everything. On the day she was very warm and welcoming. My consultant was very empathetic, thorough and took my concerns seriously, despite them not being too much of a problem. This really meant a lot to me and put my mind at rest. It was one of the most positive experiences I have had in a long time and it was absolutely worth the time and money spent for this reassurance.

I marked a booking for a scan and diagnosis for my varicos veins, to be clear the company that I vizited is called “Uk Vein clinic “and they using first floor from Berkshire clinic 130 all good the Italian chief scan specialist explained me everything, a straight forward procedure, nothing to complicated about what they saying “lunch time break one hour procedure ” which sounds good especially that they offer a interes free 6-10 months financial options .
Now I paid for scan&diagnosis £250 ,and I have requested a particular invoice, simple A4 word document in which to be mentioned some important details in order for me to claim some funds back from my health insurance.
I exchanged numerous emails with Ellie Quinnell ,explaining her very clear what I needed, but even now, I can’t go through what I need.
It seems too hard to give a customer a service for what he paid for?what the point would be too easy to do their job, right??
And now the treatment on their website prices starts from £1700 ,now I have been quoted £3050 plus £250 that I already paid,for what???
I am writing this for everyone to know that are many cheaper and transparent alternatives, Southampton vein clinic states clear £1995 “prices are fixed per Leg and no “from”prices ,not to mention about eastern Europe prices with the flight included around £1500.
How can I trust this company, which can not even provide customers with a simple invoice instead of their own “standard invoice “

Had a blood test with another doctor today and I usually get a bit squeamish and light headed but I hardly noticed what was happening and it was over before I knew it. The reason I come to this clinic is to get my bloods done by Lalli. She is the so gentle, reassuring and very experienced. There is no pain, no messing about and I can hardly feel the needle, even when she is filling 4 vials. Thank you Lalli, you make an anxious patient relaxed and I always leave with a big smile.

I needed to see a doctor quickly as I didn’t feel well. I contacted The Berkshire Clinic and got an appointment in 5 mins. Yes you have to pay ,but you don’t mind paying for service like they provided. I would highly reccommend to anyone who can’t wait to get an appointment with their own doctor.

Thoroughly professional. Well organised. On line booking process for self funded appointment very easy to complete. The cardiac consultant I saw Prof.NR went through my medical background symptoms examined me and then very carefully explained his conclusions. They formulated an immediate treatment plan and outlined what further tests may be required. 30 minutes of the appointment fully utilised. Received written report of consultation by email the following day. Overall an excellent experience.

Dr Stirrup is an excellent cardiologist. Knowledgeable friendly with great attention to details. Before making an appointment I was quite nervous for my dad’s condition but now I trust he is in good hands. I am a medical doctor myself and was really impressed by the care we received.
