During the consultation, the consultant will review your blood test and sleep study results, explain what they mean, provide a clear diagnosis, and discuss personalised treatment options to help improve your sleep and overall health. This complete package ensures a thorough evaluation of potential sleep disorders, including Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) and other sleep-related breathing issues.

Diagnostic Blood Tests

Our sleep assessment includes a detailed set of blood tests often linked to sleep disorders, fatigue, and low energy levels:

  • Full Blood Count (FBC)
  • Urea & Electrolytes (U&E)
  • Iron Studies / Ferritin
  • Thyroid Function Tests (TFTs)
  • BNP (to assess for underlying cardiovascular issues)
  • Sleep study monitor

Home Sleep Study Monitor

You will be provided with a home sleep apnoea test device, which comfortably records key sleep metrics overnight, including:

  • Breathing Patterns
  • Oxygen Levels

  • Respiratory effort
  • Heart rate

This non-invasive test helps diagnose Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) and other sleep-related breathing issues.

Consultation With a Respiratory Consultant

Once your tests and sleep study are complete, you’ll have a private consultation with one of our Respiratory Consultants to:

  • Review your blood test results
  • Analyse your sleep study data
