Consultations with Dr Bhatia include:
Antenatal consultations – individualised advice, reassurance and an opportunity to discuss concerns during pregnancy
Birth choices conversations – exploring your options and helping you make informed decisions about your birth
Previous traumatic birth discussions – specialist support when considering another pregnancy or planning a subsequent birth following a difficult or traumatic experience
Birth debrief consultations – time to understand what happened during your labour and birth, ask questions and discuss its implications for the future
Caesarean wound reviews – expert assessment of wound healing, infection concerns, breakdown or worries about recovery
Perineal and episiotomy wound reviews – specialist assessment and advice following tears, episiotomy or concerns about healing
Postnatal care – consultant-led support for recovery, concerns and reassurance following birth

Meena recognises that pregnancy, birth and postnatal recovery do not always follow the journey women anticipated. Questions can remain unanswered and concerns about a previous birth or physical recovery can sometimes be difficult to address within routine maternity care.

Her approach is warm, thorough and evidence-based, providing women with the time and specialist expertise to understand what has happened, discuss their concerns and make informed decisions about their care.

Her aim is simple: for every woman to leave her consultation feeling heard, informed, reassured and confidently supported. She is passionate about promoting overall maternity wellness.
